Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Henlon and Kanekalon?
Henlon hair is a premium synthetic fiber known for its soft, natural texture and chemical-free composition. Unlike many other synthetic options, Henlon fibers do not contain a chemical coating, making them non-irritating, lightweight, and comfortable to wear for extended periods. The smooth, realistic finish allows it to closely resemble human hair in both feel and movement, providing a more natural and effortless look.
Kanekalon hair, on the other hand, is the most commonly used synthetic fiber in the hair industry. While it’s more affordable, it is typically made with a chemical coating that gives it a coarse texture and can sometimes cause scalp irritation or allergic reactions. It also tends to have a stiffer feel and a less natural appearance compared to Henlon.
In short — Henlon fiber offers superior comfort, quality, and realism, making it the preferred choice for any handcrafted product.

What length is the braiding hair?
All of our braiding hair is about 24 inches in length. We do not measure our braiding hair from end to end -- we measure it as pictured. The length end to end would be about 48 inches.

How long does it take to fulfill an order?
Orders are typically fulfilled within 24 hours and will ship out on the next business day.

What is braiding hair used for?
Braiding hair is typically used to create a wide variety of protective and decorative hairstyles. It’s synthetic hair that’s added to natural hair to achieve longer, fuller, or more creative braid styles.
Braiding hair helps protect natural hair from daily manipulation, heat, and environmental damage. Styles like box braids, cornrows, twists, knotless braids, and dreadlock extensions give your natural hair a break, promoting growth and minimizing breakage.
Many people use braiding hair to add length or thickness to their natural hair. This allows for versatile looks even if your natural hair is shorter or thinner.
Braiding hair allows for endless creativity — it can be used to achieve styles like dreadlock extensions, feed-in braids, goddess braids, lemonade braids, and crochet styles. It’s also available in a variety of colors, textures, and finishes, letting you express your personal style without altering your natural hair.

What is the difference in types of wigs?
When shopping for wigs, you’ll often see terms like lace front and full lace — each designed to offer a different level of realism, styling flexibility, and comfort. Here’s what sets them apart:
A full lace wig has a lace base that covers the entire head. Every strand of hair is hand-tied into the lace, which allows the hair to move freely and look natural from every angle.
Benefits:
-
Can be parted anywhere on the head
-
Allows for high ponytails, buns, and updos
-
Extremely realistic scalp appearance
-
Lightweight and breathable
Best for: those who want maximum styling versatility and a very natural look.
A lace frontal wig has lace only at the front section (usually from ear to ear, about 13x4 or 13x6 inches), while the rest of the wig cap is made from a thicker material like mesh or fabric.
Benefits:
-
Gives a natural hairline and realistic parting area in the front
-
Easier to install and maintain than a full lace
-
Can be styled into half-up or side-part looks
Best for: natural-looking hairstyles without the need for full lace coverage.
There are many other types of wigs such as lace closure, 360 lace, and machine made wigs, but we do not offer these because they aren't as realistic or versatile as full lace or lace frontal wigs.
